Hi, my name is Tina.
How has God encouraged you this summer as you pursue His mission?
I've had several opportunities this summer to share Jesus with nonbelieving peers who I did not expect to be receptive to the Gospel. Having spiritual conversations, and sharing my testimony with these people have actually deepened our relationship, and I'm excited to keep walking with them. It's a huge encouragement, since I grew up thinking that persecution and rejection are the only experiences I'll ever experience being a Christian. Now that I've seen that many people are actually accepting of Jesus, it's made me realize that while witnessing can definitely result in persecution and rejection, it can also be very pleasant and rewarding when the message is received!
Why is engaging in missions important to you?
I don't know how else to live. God created me for mission. It is in my DNA. If I don't do it, I'll likely rot from the inside out. When I do live on mission, life is fun, fulfilling, challenging, and adventurous.
